Many teachers know that period 3 brain fog, when the children in front of them slump their shoulders and everything seems harder.
It could be stale air. Without good ventilation contaminants can build up, including other people’s breath. And that breath could contain viruses like measles of COVID-19.
The first step to good ventilation is having sufficient openable windows or doors. The trick is using them well. But how are teachers meant to know when and how much to open a window without making the classroom too cold, too hot or too noisy? That’s if they even have time to think about it!
